I am a family physician and work at Access Alliance, a Community Health Centre that provides multidisciplinary care to new immigrants and refugees. In addition to my rostered patients, I provide short-term medical care to newly arrived refugees.

There are two new mental health initiatives we want to bring to your attention that might be helpful to your patients.

We have heard from many of you how difficult it has been to provide primary care to patients who, because of frailty, immobility, mental health challenges, have been unable to attend in-office appointments.

We are excited to be hosting our first Annual General Meeting and hope you can join us either in-person or virtually at the Faculty Club on June 7 2022, 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. We are here to represent the needs of the primary care providers in Mid-West Toronto.

Change is always difficult, especially when adopting new technologies into our already busy and overwhelming schedules. Those of us who were able to make the switch have found that the improved accuracy and efficiency is worth it, after surviving the initial learning curve.
