A Day in the Life: Dr. Vinchala Bala, Access Alliance CHC
I am a family physician and work at Access Alliance, a Community Health Centre that provides multidisciplinary care to new immigrants and refugees. In addition to my rostered patients, I provide short-term medical care to newly arrived refugees.

We have heard from many of you how difficult it has been to provide primary care to patients who, because of frailty, immobility, mental health challenges, have been unable to attend in-office appointments.

Digital technologies: for your consideration
Change is always difficult, especially when adopting new technologies into our already busy and overwhelming schedules. Those of us who were able to make the switch have found that the improved accuracy and efficiency is worth it, after surviving the initial learning curve.

We are proud to announce the continued presence in our high priority communities as we are now offering barrier free and timely access to and education on COVID-19 Vaccination, Testing, Assessment, and access to treatment for eligible individuals at our Pop-Up Integrated Community Hubs.
